Google buys Quickoffice, a office apps for mobile

Last Updated : June 6, 2012 10:24:33 ISTGoogle has announced yesterday that they have acquired Quickoffice, a mobile application which makes your mobile compatible to read most file format (including Microsoft Office formats).
Currently, Google has Google Doc which allow user to do all office work like document, spreadsheets online. This is free for user while it comes with package, called Google Apps,on user domains which costs 50 USD per user.
A expert says, “Quickoffice will help google to give better experience to mobile user who can now easily work on office by future implementation on Quickoffice”.
Google has ensured that they will give more powerful experience to large user base of Quickoffice soon.
Currently, Quickoffice provides office solution for Android, iPad, iPhone and Symbian Operating Systems.“we are ushering in a new chapter with Google. By combining the magic of Google’s intuitive solutions with Quickoffice’s powerful products, our shared vision for anytime, anywhere productivity can only grow.” says by Co-Founder and CEO Quickoffice, Alan Masarek on official website of Quickoffice.
