It was a pleasant and sunny morning for the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 13.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the average for the season. The met department forecast a warm day ahead.
“The day is likely to be warm with clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperature will stay around 29 and 13 degrees Celsius,” said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).
After a series of chilly days in the last week, the capital is now experiencing warm days. But the met department says the cold is expected to return by the end of this week.
“It is likely to be cold towards the end of this week. But that is just a seasonal change,” added the IMD official.
Maximum temperature recorded Wednesday was 30.1 degrees Celsius, five notches above the average.
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 90 percent.
