The news comes from the launch event of a new romantic track “Manma emotion jaage”. Varun and Kriti Sanon, the second lead pair of Rohit Shetty’s “Dilwale”.

Expressing his desire, Varun said: “Maybe later in my career, I would prefer to act as an antagonist in ‘Darr’ and ‘Baazigar’ remakes. Whenever I do much happy films and happy things, suddenly my mood turns to do negative characters.”

After playing jolly roles in films like “Main Tera Hero” and “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”, Varun starred in “Badlapur”, which featured him in an altogether different avatar.

Talking about the song “Manma emotion jaage”, the actor revealed that he was scared to get hurt in difficult stunts for the song.

“This is my thirteenth song with Remo’D Souza. I feel very proud working with him. Remo made me jump from a 12 ft high huge truck… My entry was with two huge trucks and that was Rohit sir’s idea. I was a little scared by the thought of getting hurt,” he said.

Shetty, who is known to use expensive and classy cars in his films, is doing it again for “Dilwale”, which is releasing on December 18.
