7.4 magnitude quake hits Colombia

An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale hit southeast Colombia Sunday, the US Geological Service reported. There was no immediate news of any damage or casualties.

The quake’s epicentre was located 20 km from La Vega town at a depth of 140 km.
