In her speech to the Asia Society in New York, Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has addressed tensions with India and dismissed the legitimacy of Muslim cleric Muhammad Tahirul Qadri’s attacks on the government.
Khar said that “war mongering” coming from the Indian border was detrimental to the peace process between the two countries.
Meanwhile commenting on the ongoing domestic turmoil in Pakistan, she dismissed the cleric Tahir-ul Qadri as a troublemaker who was making preposterous demands.
