Mary Kom elated on being conferred with Padma Bhushan
Olympic bronze medallist and five time world boxing champion M C Mary Kom has expressed her delight upon being chosen for the prestigious Padma Bhushan.
The elated boxer and youth icon beamed as she interacted with mediapersons in Imphal.
Meanwhile festivities broke out at the native home of ace wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt who has also been named for the Padma Bhushan.
Yogeshwar Dutt’s relatives and his coach Satbir had gathered at his residence in Sonipat to hail the occasion by exchanging sweets.
