Telangana bill introduced in Lok Sabha

New Delhi  :  The Telangana bill has been introduced in Lok Sabha, union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde Thursday said and added that action will be taken against the parliamentarians who disrupted the house.

Andhra Pradesh parliamentarian Lagadapati Rajagopal, who has been expelled from the Congress, Thursday used pepper spray inside the Lok Sabha to disrupt the proccedings.

“The Telangana bill has been introduced in the house and it is now the property of parliament. We will take strict action against the MPs,” Shinde told the media outside Parliament House.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath said he would recommend to the speaker to take strict action against the MPs.

“The Telangana bill has been introduced and the incident that took place in the house is a big blot on our parliamentary democracy. Many party leaders have requested me to ask the speaker to take strict action against the MPs…it is a very shameful act,” said Kamal Nath.

He added that he did not see, but he was told that some MPs also brought in knife, gas cannister and other weapons.
