January 31, 2013 21:09:51 ISTPatan : At least 20 people, including eight children were killed in a road accident in Gujarat’s Patan district on Wednesday after a pickup truck lost control and collided with a stationary bus.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck lost control after one of its tyres burst. Administrative officials and police rushed to the site on receiving the news of the accident.
The bodies were taken to a local hospital, where relatives mourned the sudden and untimely demise of their loved ones. 5 men and 8 women were also among those who perished in the incident.
