Boy drowns to death in school pool

Chennai  :  In a tragic incident, a fourth standard boy drowned to death in the school’s swimming pool here, police said Thursday.

M. Ranjan of Padma Seshadri Bal Bhavan and the son of Tamil movie director Manoharan went swimming with 25 classmates after morning prayers. At the end of the swimming session, the boy was missing.

The swimming coach later found the boy in the pool. Ranjan was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead.
