Michael Jackson’s daughter hospitalized after suicide attempt

Paris Jackson, the 15-year-old daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson, on Wednesday was taken to a Los Angeles-area hospital on a stretcher after an apparent suicide attempt at her home in Calabasas, California.

The teen was transported to the hospital following an emergency call to 911 at about 01:15am, according to several reports. Her family later reported she is “physically fine.”

Almost 12 hours before the attempt, Paris had tweeted, “Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away. Now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”

According to reports, the 15-year-old was unhappy at not being allowed to attend a rock concert featuring Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper earlier in the evening in Los Angeles.
