Maoists shot dead two PCAPA activists
Jhargam (West Bengal) : Suspected Maoists on Saturday gunned down two People’s Committee Against Police Atrocities (PCAPA) activists in this sub-division of West Midnapore district, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations) Mukesh Kumar said the corpses of Biswanath Mahato and Pradip Mahato were found at Nandalalpur in Jhargram.
The two were active members of the PCAPA, a front organisation of the underground Maoists.
Police said the two were executed after a “people’s court” run by the red rebels convicted them for’ treachery’.
