A pedestrian was killed after he was run over by a state transport (ST) bus on Monday afternoon on the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) route near the Sai Baba temple on Pune-Satara Road.The deceased, identified as Prakash Shivaram Adavde (30) of Mukundnagar, was killed while trying to cross the road by jumping the railings.According to the police, Adavde was hit on the head by the Makhjan-Chiplun-Pune ST bus which was headed for Swargate.
