Action required against ICC and BCCI and their officials

It refers to RTI response confirming shocking aspect of handing a replica of original World Cricket Cup to Indian cricket team winning World Cup Final on 02.04.2011 at Mumbai in contradiction of usual practice to hand over original jewel-studded gold-cup in the main ceremony to be replaced later by a replica to be retained permanently by the winning country. Original World Cup was handed over to final-winning teams in earlier years of 1999 and 2003.

It is definitely a big fraud to India, played in conspiracy of International Cricket Council (ICC) and Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI). Both BCCI and ICC knew the bitter fact which they deliberately hided from Indian public.

An unconditional apology should come from ICC, BCCI and their officials. Otherwise Indian government should take necessary action against these organizations and their office-bearers. Unfortunately person presently heading ICC is none other than a senior Union Cabinet Minister who otherwise also has lost all rights to be in Indian cabinet.
