CBI raids designed to give clean chit to A Raja

CBI raids on former Union Telecommunication Minister A Raja and his other associates are too late to be of any significance because the guilty ones had sufficient time to eliminate any disturbing documents ever since 2-G spectrum scam is in limelight for several years now. Rather these raids may be of advantage to those raided to get a ?clean? chit on the matter with all disturbing evidences destroyed in sufficient time available to culprits for doing so.

It is a proven bitter fact that CBI has to dance to tunes of political rulers having appointed its head. With Union government having misused its majority say in selecting Chief Vigilance Commissioner, rule should be to appoint heads of premier investigating agencies including that of CBI only with consensus of Prime Minister and Opposition Leader.
