Corruption at CWG : people’s anguish

It refers to media-reports about public-anger showered at chairperson of organising committee (OC) for CWG-2010 when some young men disrupted Suresh Kalmadi from dining at a Vasant Kunj restaurant at New Delhi as according to them the Parliamentarian was enjoying dinner at corrupt-money earned in CWG-2010. Situation became even more embarrassing when more people joined the protest on Suresh Kalmadi summoning his musclemen in defence forcing the notorious OC Chief to run away leaving dinner in between.

If Union government fails to take instant action against corrupt ones of CWG-2010 just after finish of games, public anger may be disastrous. Union government should set an example by instant arrest of scandalous fellows of CWG-2010 say within week ending 17th October 2010. Even if no charges may be immediately proved against Suresh Kalmadi, he should not be spared from such an instant action because if he can enjoy fruits of being OC Chairperson of CWG-2010, he must be made to own responsibility for great scams and scandals costing tax-payers thousands of crores rupees and also giving bad name to the country in field of honesty-index.
