Delhi Police at High Court : Mindset and apology

Delhi : Unconditional apology tendered by Delhi Police at Delhi High Court on infamous gang-rape incident and subsequent police-brutality on angered protestors is a mere formality done under judicial pressure.

Real mindset and working of police cannot practically change unless responsibility for the events is fixed on and/or owned by some senior-most police-officer/s of Delhi Police, requiring their immediate sacking for a lesson for future. Past similar incidents like mid-night crackdown by Delhi Police at Ramlila Maidaan (Delhi) during Ramdev-agitation confirm that there is an unbridgeable gap between mindset and apology by Delhi Police.

Sacking of senior-most police-officials based on strictures passed by Delhi high Court can also make to-be-sacked police-officers reveal names of higher ones at Union Ministry of Home Affairs if police-brutality was on their orders.
