Elections in haryana
Over-confident Haryana Chief Minister Bupinder Singh Hudda has proved costly for his Congress party by having pre-maturely dissolved state-assembly and boasting at public-cost through costly media-advertisements when the state is now dragged in an era of blackmail-politics because of a hung assembly. Haryana which gifted India an era of Ayarams-Gayarams has completed a full circle by repeating the same situation.
Instead of inviting role of money and blackmail, Chief Minister in Haryana should be elected by secret and compulsory vote of all MLAs through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) on nominations signed by at least one-third MLAs. Such an elected Chief Minister may be removed only by a non-confidence motion by same process but with compulsion to name alternate leader in the same motion. Pre-mature dissolution of assembly may not be allowed after such a system is affected.
