Helpline at presedent’s website
It was nice initiative of President of India that a helpline was incorporated on President’s Website. But it was planned for a time-bound response on submissions lodged at the helpline to be moved electronically to concerned ones for fastest action on submissions made. But it seems that there is no maintainability of any time-bound restriction for compliance by concerned ones.
President Secretariat should make a detailed study of responses made by concerned ones where submissions were forwarded. Disciplinary and other measures should be taken against irresponsible ones not caring to response to forwarded submissions. Instead system of levying penalty for not responding should also be there. Similar helpline should be compulsorily on websites of all public-authorities to reduce petitions filed under Right-To-Information Act.
