Indian media is guilty of unnecessarily projecting a spoilt youth Rahul Mahajan as some celebrity when his unwise acts of personal life are unduly highlighted. Was it fair by the electronic channel to include him as a star in reality-shows not only once but twice when the person had a very nuisance personal life? It must not be forgotten that it was the same person who enjoyed cock-tail and drugs at government-bungalow in New Delhi with ashes of his father kept in an adjoining room. Such over-projection of a wrong and notorious person as hero by media certainly has a bad effect on young generation and children watching TV shows projecting Rahul Mahajan as some hero to be followed.
It is time that government or concerned autonomous bodies should put some check on such wrong-doings by Indian media in giving undue projection to spoilt persons as heroes to save young generation and children to be spoilt by following such unfair persons as their ideals. Even National Commission of Women had rightly asked government to intervene in banning real-life marriages in reality TV shows which could be a bane for immature girls like has now happened with Dimpy Ganguly.
