Poll panel should be harsh now

Election Commission should take strict-most action against Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma despite later calling his controversial remarks as ‘slip of tongue’. It has become a fashionable trend for politicians to gain media-galore to remain in news by first deliberately insulting and disobeying Election Commission, and then by saying beautiful British-gifted word ‘Sorry???!

Recording of Beni Prasad Verma’s speech can clearly prove that the Union Minister deliberately defied and showed disrespect to Election Commission in his full senses. It is a white lie of Beni Prasad Verma to call whole episode as ‘Slip of Tongue’. If at all this theory of ‘Slip of Tongue’ is correct, then such a person is not fit to work on important post of Union Minister. Prime Minister should seek resignation of Beni Prasad Verma from ministerial post on any of the reasons namely defying and showing disrespect to Election Commission, or for suffering from some serious disease/weakness which does on allow a person to keep control on his tongue.
