Supreme court slams high court judges

It refers to realistic and strict-most strictures from the Supreme Court bench about certain judges of Allahabad High Court notorious for encouraging nepotism being ?uncle judges? of some lawyers there. Observations of Judges publicly endorsed in their judgment come at the same day when another bench of the Apex Court transferred to a Constitution Bench, three cases filed by Supreme Court against itself against CIC-verdicts desiring accountability and transparency in judicial system including also in appointment of judges in higher courts. Chief Justice of India (CJI) should take strictures passed by Justices Markandey Katju and Gyan Sudha Mishra with seriousness they deserve, and ensure immediate removal rather than transfer of such ?uncle judges? from judiciary. CJI should also direct Supreme Court registry to modify their stand in their cases against CIC-verdicts accordingly.

Only and best practical way to check unholy incidents of ?uncle judges? in High Courts is to appoint all judges of High Courts compulsorily from outside their home-states also to effectively check influences and approaches on locally appointed High Court judges through their local friends, relatives and former bar-colleagues.
