Air India’s chief operating officer Gustav Baldauf quits

Air India’s chief operating officer (COO) Captain Gustav Baldauf quit office on Monday, a day after the government survey said the national carrier was the biggest loss-making public sector unit as well as the worst-performer in 2009-10.
The Austrian has been under scrutiny since his alleged remarks that about political interference on his handing the job of the Air India.

He was also being a notice recently to explain his position on the controversial remarks since the government has been pumping hug funds for revival of the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) from reds.
