AirAsia, a low-cost airline, has flown 100 million guests in the last eight years, said officials on Wednesday.
?The significant numbers of 100 million guests in 8 ? years represent the commitment that AirAsia, the world?s best low-cost airline holds in spearheading the change of the ASEAN travel landscape,? said an official spokesperson.
At present, AirAsia connects 22 countries and 139 routes across South East Asia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Europe and Australia.

The 100 millionth AirAsia guest is Irma Dewi, 23 year-old housewife from Indonesia. Irma was presented with 100 free seats from AirAsia, which will enable her to travel throughout the vast route network of AirAsia for a period of two years.
