Chevrolet Enjoy Specs and Images Revealed; To launch Soon

General Motors, which sales its products in India as Chevrolet India, is looking to establish the brand in the country. After launching its ambitious Sail twins- Sail UVA and Sail Sedan, the carmaker is going to launch a new car in yet another mass segment i.e MPVs.

This new car will be Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is now all set to launch very soon, which was first showcased at 2012 Indian Auto Expo. After disclosing engine details, the company has now revealed some pictures and details of the Enjoy and started an online campaign called ‘Enjoy Voyage’ that allows people to participate and win an all new Chevrolet Enjoy.

Chevrolet Enjoy will be the company’s second MPV after Tavera in India. Chevrolet is planning to pitch the Enjoy against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which is doing superb in terms of sales.

The Enjoy MPV is definitely not a head turner by looks, and it boasts the typical boxy design of the MPVs, however the spaciousness and the engine options under the hood impress. The Enjoy is found to be more spacious than the Ertiga, and will be powered by a 1.4-litre petrol mill and the Fiat sourced 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine.

The 1.4-litre petrol mill will be able to churn out the maximum power output of 93bhp and 127Nm of torque, while the 1.3-litre will produce 88bhp and 200Nm of torque. The Transmission will be the 5-speed manual for both diesel and petrol variants. The product looks promising, and it’s just the pricing that will play a deciding role for its future. Recently, Chevrolet has priced newly launched Sail Sedan and hatchback very competitive, so we can expect the same to happen in the case of Enjoy as well.
