Google buys Quickoffice, a office apps for mobile

Google has announced yesterday that they have acquired Quickoffice, a mobile application which makes your mobile compatible to read most file format (including Microsoft Office formats).

Currently, Google has Google Doc which allow user to do all office work like document, spreadsheets online. This is free for user while it comes with package, called Google Apps,on user domains which costs 50 USD per user.

A expert says, “Quickoffice will help google to give better experience to mobile user who can now easily work on office by future implementation on Quickoffice”.

Google has ensured that they will give more powerful experience to large user base of Quickoffice soon.

Currently, Quickoffice provides office solution for Android, iPad, iPhone and Symbian Operating Systems.
