L&T Infotech launches MoST-i
L&T Infotech has launched MoST-i (Mobile Strategy for Insurance) framework aimed at accelerating the adoption of mobile applications.
This was launched during a global insurance event in the USA. This framework is designed to assist insurance companies understand and navigate their ecosystem by adopting mobile strategy into their business and IT strategies.
Growing client demand for service differentiation and ever-increasing competitive pressures are driving insurance companies to implement mobile applications primarily in the areas of marketing, client service and claims notification.
However, in the absence of an enterprise-wide mobile strategy, these implementations remain fragmented point solutions.

The MoST-i framework is defined in 3 layers?information foundation, consulting methodology and an adoption toolkit?which together equip insurance companies for a successful mobile implementation initiative.
The MoST-i framework presents guidelines for building upon this base to culminate into a Mobile Center of Excellence (CoE). Furthermore, the MoST-i framework is supplemented by the insurance Mobile Components (iMC) aimed at expediting implementation of mobile application by 40%.
