Market Closed postive, Nifty touched 5000

Nifty has crossed 5000 points in intra-day but closed at 4990 with 5020 as intraday-high and 4,982 as intraday low.

26 stocks are in green while 24 stocks are in red at end of day in Nifty 50 Index.

HCL, Cairn and Tata Motors are top gainers while BPCL, IDFC, ACC and Reliance Infra are in among top losers till time.

There was good buying support from IT, auto and banking stocks.
