Prices of major food commodities decline at Delhi

As per data compiled by Price Monitoring Cell, Department of Consumer Affairs, in the week ending Thursday, the prices of main food commodities either declined or remained steady at Delhi.

Prices of tur dal decreased from Rs. 69 per kg to Rs. 68 per kg, moong dal from Rs. 68 to Rs. 67.50, urad dal from Rs. 68 to 67, sugar from Rs. 34 to 33.5, potato from Rs. 9 to Rs. 8 and onion from Rs. 58.5 to Rs. 43.5 per kg.

Prices of rice, wheat, atta, gram dal, masoor dal, milk, mustard oil, vanaspati, soya oil, sunflower oil, salt and tea remained steady over the week. Groundnut oil prices increased from Rs. 134 to Rs. 135 per kg. during the period.
