French automaker Renault is enjoying the overwhelming success of their compact SUV Duster in India. But where, the Duster is creating milestones every month, other Renault cars are not performing that well. Renault India, which has already announced that they will not launch any new car in 2013, will groom their current portfolio by launching new variants and updates in 2013. After launching new variants in Duster line-up, Renault India has now silently launched a special edition version of its flagship sedan the Scala called the Travelogue edition at Rs. 9.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Launched with some additional features on the top-of-the line RxZ diesel version, the Scala Travelogue edition will be sold in a limited number till May 31.
As per the company’s official website, the Scala Travelogue edition has been offered with integrated touch screen multimedia system with Navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, DVD player, illuminated scuff plates, rear sun shade, blinker on ORVMs and muffler cutter, making it an even more feature rich product. Renault India launched the automatic version of Scala in RXL and RXZ petrol trims in January, 2013. The automatic version was offered with all new X-tronic transmission system, which is also expected in the upcoming NissanSunny automatic version.
