Sensex closes at 48 pts up, Nifty at 5400

Today, market traded negative after IT major Infosys’ poor first quarter numbers till noon and then reality and capital goods supports market and lead to positive.

Sensex closed at 17985 pts with 17998 pts intraday high and 17908 pts intraday low. Reality and Capital goods showed positive trands and their Index closed up by 4% and 2.41% respectively. IT index was down by nearly 3%.

Nifty made 5406 pts intraday high and 5357 pts as intraday low and closed to 5400 pts.
