Sugata Mitra is winner of the 2013 TED Prize

Sugata Mitra, Professor of Educational Technology, was declared as winner of 2013 TED Price on February 26. He gets a one million USD as TED Prize.

Prof. Sugata Mitra is Professor of Educational Technology at the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences at Newcastle University, UK. He is best known for his “Hole in the Wall” experiment, and widely cited in works on literacy and education. He is Chief Scientist, Emeritus, at NIIT.
