The task of construction of 2,892 km national highways has been completed: Minister

New Delhi: Till October 31, 2,892 km of national highways has been constructed, by the central government

According to Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Pon- With year 2015-16, the government is targeting to  complete the construction of 10,950 km of national highways

“Allocation for the development of highways for the current year under the various schemes of the ministry is Rs.81,114.59 crore,” Radhakrishnan said in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha
