It refers to adding new metro-trains by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on crowded Kendriya Sacvhivalaya-Jahangirpuri route. This route has experienced extra-ordinary crowd with queues of waiting-passengers spreading even outside station-premises during peak-hours ever since the route was extended from Vishwavidyalaya to Jahangirpuri. Instead of increasing more routes, DMRC should utilise new coaches first to ease traffic on existing routes. With same running-cost, revenue earned by DMRC can be increased appreciably by doubling number of coaches to eight in each of the metro-rack presently having just four coaches. Metro-rail is losing utility with many persons opting out because of passengers dumped in jam-packed coaches.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) should reserve one coach for ladies in each of metro-train. It is extremely torturous for ladies to use jam-packed metro-service especially in peak hours.
