Bomb scare near Delhi college

A bomb scare created ripples near Delhi’s Gargi College on Monday after combustible material was found in a packet though police ruled out it was ingredients of any deadly bomb.

Police said the material found is not a powerful bomb ingredient and it could be a prank.

The material in a packet was explosive which can only assemble fire crackers, police said.

On May 25, a device in a plastic bag kept outside the Delhi High Court in a parking lot exploded causing panic in the area on Wednesday afternoon, but no one was injured from the blast of low intensity nature.
