New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Wednesday once again came out in defence of its poll campaign committee chief and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the Congress was attacking him because of their own failures.
“The Congress’ attack on Narendra Modi has crossed the limits of civility and dignity. It is their constant failures on different fronts that has made them unpopular, and Modi popular for the masses,” BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad told reporters here.
Taking a jibe at the BJP’s decision to collect an entry fee of Rs.5 per person at a rally in Hyderabad next month, Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari had Tuesday said “tickets for even flop films sell for Rs.200-250”.
Prasad attacked Tewari saying “we need no certificates from Mr. Tewari”.
