Delhi road rage: Jet pilot Vikas Agarwal out on bail

A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to Jet Airways pilot Vikas Agarwal , a day after his car run-over a restaurant manager at Delhi’s posh Khan Market area.

Restaurant manager Rajiv Jolly was run-over by Agarwal on Tuesday after their cars crashed and the former got out to purportedly start a fight.

The manager was declared dead upon being brought to a hospital.

Police said it was still unclear whether Agarwal meant to run-over Jolly, or if it was an accident.

The pilot was arrested and booked for murder.

Meanwhile, Jolly?s uncle said he is ?shocked? that Agarwal was bailed out so soon.

“We are shocked that he was let off on bail. What kind of law is this where the case hasnt even been taken up yet and the accused is let off on bail so soon. This makes me think that Vikas Agarwal has got political connections in high places,” Jolly?s uncle David Wilson told reporters outside the court here.
