Girl, Radhika Talwar, shot dead near college in Delhi
Raising questions on safety of women in the national capital, a 20-year-old girl was shot dead by an unidentified assailant near her college in south Delhi on Tuesday.
Radhika Talwar was shot at on the foot bridge near her college at about 10.20 am.
She was a degree second year student of Ramlal Anand College in Dhaula Kuan.
Radhika was on way to college with two other friends when she was attacked.
A single bullet hit Radhika and she succumbed after being rushed to a hospital.
The attacker managed to escape in the crowd, police said.
The motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained, though police suspect it to be a case of a love-affair gone wrong.
