A Delhi court today sent two of the Dhaula Kuan gangrape accused to Tihar Jail for their identification by the victim.
Hundreds of Delhi policemen went to Haryana’s Mewat district to pick up Shamshad and Usman, the two suspects in the assault on a 30-year-old woman, from their homes on Wednesday night. Police also seized a car, which was used in the crime.
The crime happened on Nov 26 when the Mizo woman was abducted while returning home at Moti village near Dhaula Kuan in south Delhi early from office early morning along with one of her colleagues.
The suspects, waiting on a vehicle, shoveled-in the woman and left for an unknown destination.
The woman was later found abandoned at Mogolpuri.
She then approached the police, who since then had been on the lookout for the perpetrators.
