Man injured after falling on Metro track
A 45-year-old man was critically injured when he fell on the tracks at a Delhi Metro station in south Delhi, police said Sunday.
The incident took place at Sultanpur Metro station around 6 p.m. Jeevant Negi was waiting for train when he lost his balance and fell off the platform.
Though the approaching train stopped short of him as the driver applied emergency brakes, Negi sustained serious head injuries in the fall.
He was taken to the AIIMS Trauma Centre where his condition is stated to be be critical, police said.
