Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called on President Pratibha Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.
At the 45-minute-meeting, the two leaders discussed about the forthcoming Budget Session of the Parliament, the President’s secretariat said in a statement.
They also discussed about the current economic situation including price rise, internal security and a number of other issues.
According to reports, the Prime Minister is also believed to have briefed the President about the cabinet reshuffle likely to happen over the next couple of days.
