One killed, eight injured in Delhi road accidents
New Delhi : A man was crushed to death by an unidentified vehicle while eight people were injured in three road accidents in the capital, police said Tuesday.
Ram Pravesh, 55, was killed when a speeding truck hit his bike in south Delhi’s New Friends Colony Monday night.
Pravesh, who worked with the National Thermal Power Commission (NTPC), was heading towards Badarpur from Ashram Chowk when the accident occurred.
In the second incident, five people, including three eunuchs, suffered injuries when the car they were travelling in overturned in west Dehli’s Alipur area.
The injured were rushed to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where two of them are in critical condition.
In another incident, a car coming from wrong direction collided with another one and left injured three people of a family, including a woman.
The accident was reported from east Delhi’s Dallupura area.
