The mother of the lawyer defending the Talwar couple in the Aarushi murder case was found dead in her Vivek Vihar residence in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Mother of lawyer Rebecca Jon, Anna Menon, was found strangled.
The murder is suspected to have been committed between 1-3 pm Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The reason behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.
Rebecca is defending Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, charged in the double murder case of their 13-year-old daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj in May 2008 at their Noida home.
