New Delhi : The body of a woman industrialist linked to Rathi Iron and Steel company in Madhya Pradesh was found dead at her house here, police said Monday. She was suspected to be suffering from depression.
“Akanksha Rathi was found dead in her Dwarka house in west Delhi, on the morning of Oct 23. We were informed by her father,” said a police officer.
“The post-mortem is being conducted,” said Additional Commissioner of police A.K. Ojha.
The preliminary investigation suggested that she was suffering from acute depression. It seemed she committed suicide, said the officer.
Akanksha was a director in Rathi Iron and Steel in Indore. Her husband Anirudh Rathi had also died under mysterious circumstances in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar Sep 4.
Investigation suggested that they had suffered business losses in the recent past, the officer said.
