ICA launches training scheme for BPL youths

The Institute of Computer Accounts (ICA) announced their upcoming project on Thursday, which will provide job oriented training to 22,000 Below the Poverty Line (BPL) youths.

The peoject is received from the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD), a Central Government project that will aim at providing employment to the youths through skilled development programme.

“Skill development has been identified by Prime Minister for the future development of younger Indians. 25 percent youths reside in India but they lack skilled training. This training will make them assets,” Vimal Kishor, Deputy general Manager, NABARD Consultancy Services said.

“The training will directly attract employment, and placement is the end product,” he said.

The activities of the project will be executed in three zones where 22,000 BPL students will be trained.

Under this scheme, states like Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, ?Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Orissa.
