Indian B-School beats Brazil, Russia at BRICS

Students of SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore, have bagged 2nd prize in the Case Study Competition held as part of the BRICS B Schools Conference in China recently.

Students from Shantou University of China were the winners of the contest.

Swosti Panda and Srikiran Rai, were part of the team representing India and competed against teams from Brazil, Russia and China.

Ramesh Venkateswaran, Director SDM IMD, speaking on the victory, said, ?We are proud that our students have made their mark on a global platform. With this feat the students have raised the bar for the next batches to push themselves to do better this achievement.?

Other two students from SDMIMD, VR Raghunandan and Vaishnavi S were also part of the team that represented India at China last week as student delegates at the BRICS B Schools Conference held at Guangzhou, China.

This is as part of SDMIMD?s ongoing student participation program with the Association of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa) Business Schools.

As part of the academic and professional activities of the association, business fests and conferences are held in all the five member countries.
