SDM IMD beats IIM Ahmedabad

SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysore, bagged the first prize for their “Nestle Marketing Case Study presentation? at Confluence 2010, an annual competition held at IIM Ahmedabad, recently.

Over 550 teams from India?s most premier B Schools participating in the event.

The finalists included two teams from IIM A, IIM B, SDMIMD and SP Jain Institute of Management.

The winning teams were awarded with a cash prize of Rs.60, 000 followed by 30,000 for the runners up which was shared by IIM A and SP Jain Institute of Management.

SDMIMD team was represented by Kushal Bhathija, Divya Ventakesh, Gaurav Dwivedi and Sowmya Balasubramanian.

Bhathija, first year student of SDMIMD, said, ?This has been an extremely insightful and interesting competition, the depth of topics and the standard of selection was a great learning experience on the whole. This win has been so much sweeter because we have won this over iconic B Schools.?
