A R Rahman misses Golden Globe
Oscar winning Indian music composer A R Rahman failed to win the Golden Globe award in the ‘original score’ category, to a great disappointment for all his fans.
Rehman was nominated for his composition ‘If I Rise’ from Danny Boyle’s latest film ‘127 Hours’.
Earlier, he had bagged the award for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ in the same category.
The 68th Golden Globe award, that was staged in the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, witnessed the movie “The Social Network.” winning the ‘Best Motion Picture Drama’ award, while the director David Fincher bagged the best director award, apart from the ‘Screenplay’ ,’Original Score’ award.
Best Dramatic Actor award was won by Colin Firth for the film “The King’s Speech”.
The ‘Best Movie Musical or Comedy’ film award was bagged by the film “The Kids Are All Right”.
Actress, Musical or Comedy Annette Bening, “The Kids Are All Right’.
Actor, Musical or Comedy: Paul Giamatti, “Barney’s Version.”
The supporting actor award went to Christian Bale, “The Fighter.”
The supporting actress award was bagged by Melissa Leo, “The Fighter.”
The Foreign Language film award was given to “In a Better World.”
The Animated Film award went to “Toy Story 3.”
