No matter where you turn you are bound to find a familiar Bollywood face.
Our beloved Aruna Irani is one such instance and she recently, has been busy carving a niche for herself on Zee TV?s popular show Sanjog Se Bani Sangini as one of the main characters. However, if sources on the sets are to be believed, the lady has been paying truant quite often.
According to our source who does not wish to be named said, ?Arunaji often tends to disappear for the longest time between takes; and members of the production team have had to go in search of her and end up finding her in her vanity checking out the stock market on her snazzy new laptop! Just the other day she was heard telling someone ?mujhe computer operate nahee karna aata bas stock market dekhna aata hai?!?
Adding further, the source said, ?It?s not just stocks?.Apparently she has taken her character too seriously and maintains a cold distance from Gauri. It seems that Arunaji seems to have taken a dislike to the nation?s new darling ? Binny Sharma off-screen as well.
?She absolutely refuses to speak to her on the sets unless it is required for a scene. In fact at a recent awards function, when asked to present an award to Binny for her portrayal of Gauri, Arunaji excused herself for a while to use the restroom & exited the venue through the back entrance.?
Talk about being left in a lurch! Arunaji don?t you think that while it is acceptable to stay in character on sets, this is just taking things a little too far!
