Chetan Bhagat is back in news again, and this time his popular novel ?2 States? is all set to become a Bollywood movie.

Chetan tweeted to his fans to announce about this development.

?2states film deal done. Produced by sajid nadiadwala. Directed by siddharth anand. Saif as krish. Ananya tbd,? he tweeted.

Chetan also said that the shooting for this film will begin at the beginning of next year and the film will be a ?big family entertainer?.

?Shooting early next year. They’ve promised a big family entertainer. Very excited. Thanks for ur support,” Bhagat tweeted.

Previously, two novels of Bhagat -?5 Point Someone? and ?One Night @ Call Centre?-were adapted into Hindi films.

Director Atul Agnihotri had turned ?One Night @ Call Centre? to ?Hello?. The film, however, did not do well at the box office.

But the film ?3 Idiots?, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and based on the novel ?Five Point Someone ? What not to do at IIT!?, turned out to be on of the major blockbuster ever produced in India.

Incidentally, a things went bitter among Hirani, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Chetan after the release of the film over title credit.

Even ‘3 Idiots’ star Aamir Khan had accused that Chetan was ?hungry for publicity?, while the autjor blamed that makers for not paying the due credit to him.
