The Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit Nene, who has ruled a million hearts with her 1000 watt smile and simplicity, turned 46 today.
Born on May 15, 1967, Madhuri Dixit entered the film industry at the age of 17 and became the nation’s heartthrob in the years to come.
Having starred in over 100 films Madhuri has won 5 Filmfare awards and was also honored with a Padma Shri in 2008, for her contribution to Indian Cinema. She got married to Dr Shriram Madhav Nene a cardiovascular surgeon based in US in the year 1999 and shifted with her husband and has two sons.
She made a comeback with the 2007 movie Aaja Nachle, which wasn’t successful at box office. In October 2011, the actress relocated to India with her husband and two sons.
